Tonight I hold my head high, feeling proud of my accomplishments as a teacher and a Marine!.... I heard back from a young lady who is a Recruit as we speak at Parris Island..... Yes! A future female Marine in the making... A talented musician and prior middle school student of mine.... She thanked me and called me an inspiration.... She said that when the instructors ask if they know any Marines.... She says: My Middle School Band Director!!!!!
