Tonight I joined my teacher in working Reiki with the same client as on Friday. Shes a very sweet lady with many, many health issues. She is expecting the Reiki to take away all the pain, stop the major issues she is having, but she is not willing to help herself and therefore, is not getting the expected results. Yet, she tells us that emotionally she feels so much better. Shes not screaming or crying uncontrollably anymore. She is laughing a lot instead. She is able to move around a bit better. So we know the Reiki is working on both parts. I told her that maybe your emotions need to be healed first before your body will work with the Reiki. She didnt really like that answer, but she agreed that was probably right. Sometimes Reiki will work like a miracle on your body and sometimes the miracle is simply to heal your spirit or heart. Thats why its important to not forsake your doctors for just Reiki. Reiki is complementary to the care that youre Physician will give you. I am truly grateful for having this experience with her, alongside my Teacher as well. It seems we are both learning a lot together. And the Reiki is also showing us the amazing ways that it works in peoples lives! ~Peace, Love and Reiki~ Sari
