Tonight I met Ohio Senator Joe Schiavoni and talked with him regarding education issues and gave him a bit of the rundown of all the Ohio legislators, Ohio Department of Education people and Ohio School Board members Ive talked with in my quest to get this political addiction of mass standardized testing to stop. Before he left, he wrote his cell phone number in my notebook and told me to call him within the next two days so we can continue our conversation. Im serious, he said, I really want to talk more. Youre doing all the right things and I want to bring you to Columbus so we can address some of these issues. (P.S. Pardon my third-floor-classroom-heat-hair.)
