Tonight, I miss Kauai something fierce. My studio, Honeygirl, my brothers downstairs, sitting on my lanai, hearing the ocean in the distance, my routine, simplicity, laughing with Kawika until I cried, dancing in the car, driving my red machine/ best car I’ve ever had. The smell of flowers, warm nights and warm rain. Beauty everywhere you look. Such a different life. I know this is part of the process of moving forward, and letting go, this feeling. And I know California is where I am supposed to be. Trying to do something different because I know if nothing changes, nothings changes. Short term pain, long term gain. And with all things, i know, THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Goodnight.
