Tonight I spent time with a 4 year old boy who has been at deaths door twice before and always came back by grace of God and prayers and dedication of his mom and family. Being at that door again this past week and seeing him tonight smiling weakly, unable to sit up but waving in acknowledgement as he mouthed hi uncle made my heart ache with gratitude at great the effort the little guy makes to greet me... but mostly a realisation that I am bleased to have children (one at same age) have all their energies (yes all of that) and their physical faculties to dance, cry, laugh and fight. Sitting there, his mom says shes praying for another miracle....even just the simple act of standing up and running around and making noise...or just making it through this week after discouraging news from the doctors. So I pray: God please bless this little angel with the miracle of life in abundance. Let this little boy be your continuing miracle in his familys life and be the invisible hand in his healing and strentgh to his mom and family and show your power in miracles beyond medical comprehension and restore him...simply Lord because he wants to live! Mostly Father God, thank you for rocking me out of complacency about valuing the small daily miracles you show through your grace in the life of my children and all children in our family. I ask in Jesus name that you bless all families going through pain and suffering and bring peace, healing and your spirit to their situation whatever it may be. Amen.
