Tonight I took kyla to her friends house to stay all night & asked her why she was taking all these ramen noodles with her. She told me cuz they have no food. The mom is a single mother with breast cancer & has a teenage daughter & she cant work because of cancer. She only gets a lil over $100 in foodstamps because her daughters dad is supposed to pay support but doesnt so just in case he does they wont give her anymore. It just makes me sick! I gave kyla a lil bit of money to the mom but couldnt give much & felt bad even though the mom has never asked for help but I wish I could do more I know how it is & how ppl will feel bad for you but wont do anything to help. Be thankful for what you have & dont take anything for granted!
