Tonight I wanted to provide everyone with a web address with regard to the Scientific Research that has been being performed by a man by the name of Clifford Carnicom of The Carnicom Institute. He is a fascinating individual that has dedicated a large portion of his life and time in helping to discover the origin, cause and mechanics of a disease caused by a new emerging life form known to the general public as Morgellons Disease. Morgellons is an extremely controversial disease and has basically been ignored by the Medical communities with the exception of diagnosing patients as being delusional with (DOP) or Delusions of Parasitosis which means that a person believes they are suffering from the belief they have bugs or some parasite infesting their body on or under the skin. The major problem with this diagnosis is that doctors will label patients as having DOP without any form of physical inspection of the patients skin or any other proper professional medical testing such as biopsies, blood tests or otherwise even when the patient may be expressing obvious skin problems such as skin lesions or open sores all over their bodies that are slow healing or not at all! Due to the unethical and unprofessional response to patients who seek help from their doctors, people tend to seek help elsewhere from dermatologists as well as other types of doctors sometimes seeking help from as many as 15 to 20 different health professionals to no avail. Once your medical chart has been labeled with DOP, this diagnosis will precede your visits to all of your next doctors you visit. Several people have committed suicide due to the progression of their failing health and being unable to find a doctor that will take them seriously and actually perform a physical exam or even try to treat their condition. I have been doing research on this disease for about seven years now and have been working on building a Facebook page which I plan to launch in the next two to three weeks.
