Tonight I was headed back from Lafayette and took SR 52 S to Stockwell Rd. After turning onto Stockwell Rd I went past the beautiful brick house on the right that many of you know and I took a hard right. As soon as you make the turn there is a very humble cemetery on the left. It has no church but a lot of history. Youve probably driven past it hundreds of times and never really noticed it. Tonight, noticed it.. This is a true story and hope it is received as such. When I drove by I saw a woman sitting on a bench leaning forward with her hands over her face. The headstone she was leaning over seemed fairly new with a lot of flowers. I have no idea who it was but it was obvious it was someone she loves and lost recently. I couldnt imagine her pain. In a split second I thought about stopping but knowing myself I would have stuck my foot in my mouth within the first 20 seconds so I kept on driving. Bad excuse but that was my thought process. Prayers to you tonight whoever you are and whatever pain you are facing.
