Tonight, I was in South Allison Hill for a lovely (but hot) social gathering of engaged members of #HBGCommunity. As I was there, I thought, There are so many people in this city who refuse to venture here because they think its bad. But there I was safe and sound in a neighborhood that wasnt really that much different from mine. Except the litter. There was so much litter on the street, along the curbs, on the sidewalks. And I toured many streets...because I dont get the car that often & I take advantage to explore when I have it. There was one woman who was outside pulling weeds & sweeping the sidewalk. I said, Thank you for what youre doing! She said, I have to do it. More of us have to do it and we need to spread the word & duty. #OurCityOurConcern
