Tonight I watched a video that was one of the most profound gifts I have witnessed in quite some time. In it, there were words that I have heard before and concepts that I have studied - yet the intention and truth from the speaker of these words created a ripple effect straight to the heart. Sue Bryce Photographer is downright courageous and unequivocally wise. I have learned that as a photographer and an artist my greatest value is being a part of the gift that allows women to see themselves as the most beautiful version of their own light - to get to the core of what they cannot see - to create a reflection that they may have forgotten. When a woman sees a portrait of herself for the first time and sees through everything else....to the core of her true identity, when she can feel that experience, when tears are shed, when walls are torn down, and lives are changed - that is the purpose and that is the gift. I hope every woman gets to see herself in that way at some point in her life because it is a direct mirror of a story that has been hidden. Find your light and unveil yourself. It changes everything.
