Tonight I would like to share some life analogies that I have contrived from the perspective of a janitor. Janitorial services is currently my job. Hope you enjoy and have some resonance with them :) Life is like vacuuming; If your extension cord isnt long enough, you will have to find new power sources to plug into when you run out of length. Even still, you will have to go back and retrieve your extension cord as it gets hooked on corners. If you dont change your filter regularly or clean it, you will lose effectiveness and efficiency. You must make the decision to simply try and vacuum up large pieces of debris and risk blocking the intake, or to pick it up and place it in the garbage. Weigh time vs priorities. Realistically you cannot vacuum every crumb in the whole area without sacrificing time spent elsewhere. Empty your vacuum regularly. If you dont, it will get fuller, become heavier, you will move slower as you attempt to drag it, until it cannot hold anymore. Finally, if you dont treat the vacuum with respect and maintain it, one day you cant vacuum anymore. You can buy a new vacuum: you cant buy a new mind or body. Much love, Gwen
