Tonight (Oct. 7, 2014) I was on Paltalk in the thick of an atheism room, debating with them, hammering out issues, deflecting insults, trying to be patient, straining at the task, etc. It was difficult since several wanted to talk to me and several more were attacking me in text. I was holding my own and trying to answer objections to Christianity as well as tackle the weaknesses of atheism. Then, lo and behold, a Christian comes in to the room and started attacking me -- because Im a Calvinist. This is not the first time he or other antis have done this. I find it disconcerting that they would rather join with the enemies of the gospel and attack the one Christian in the chat room who is ultimately trying to get atheists to trust in Christ. They sometimes say I am not a Christian, need to be born again, and am preaching lies. Amazing! So, sometimes not only do I have to deal with the atheists and their numerous attacks on Christianity, I also have to defend myself against anti-Calvinist Christians who, in their ignorance, have decided that Im not Christian because I hold to the doctrines of grace in the form of the five points. What a shame.
