Tonight, Santa Claus takes over as dusk falls. The wrapped bundles of donated gifts organized by The RAINE Foundation will be hand delivered by Santa to homes throughout the Bayshore region. As always, there will be unforgettable moments of surprise, delight, gratitude and joy. This amazing operation, which will reach more than 400 homes tonight, is accomplished with lots of behind-the-scenes help from home base at Holy Family School in Hazlet. Aleo Italian Specialties of Lincroft will be making sure the 150 volunteers are well-fed for the toy drive finale. Once again, Aleos will deliver a donation of 20 hot trays of baked ziti, eggplant rotini, sausage and peppers, balsamic chicken and more prepared by Vincent Dene, Joe Tag and the kitchen crew. I’ll make sure the guys are fed nice, said Dene, 49, of Holmdel, a father of 3, who loves everything about Christmas.
