Tonight, as I reflect on the past several days, I feel lots of different emotions. Sadness, disbelief, thankfulness, hope, love, concern, and most of all, the assurance that Gods love is there with Jane, me and my family. Such a beautiful service for my nephew, Aaron Rice. The funeral directors at Benefield funeral home were kind, courteous, and professional and made us as comfortable as possible during this difficult time. Beautiful Music was provided by members of our family, Connie Lipscomb Moore, Stewart J Moore and Amy Minter Moore and my brother, Donnie Lipscomb. Words of comfort, hope and assurance were spoken by my nephew, David Lipscomb, Aarons pastor, Chris Bain, and the Lipscombs pastor, T.J. Morgan who is ALWAYS there for our family. Thank you to the members of Smyrna and Harmony churches for hosting such a delicious meal for our family after the funeral And finally, thank you to all Jane and Aarons friends for the outpouring of your love and support during this time. We will NEVER forget you. We will never understand Gods will in this situation, but we know He has never made a mistake. Our greatest peace is that Aaron was a Christian and is in a much better place and would never consider coming back. Keep us in your prayers.
