Tonight as I was watching the football game I saw a defensive - TopicsExpress

Tonight as I was watching the football game I saw a defensive player make a huge tackle for loss. The play occurred right in front of me so when the referee threw a flag for facemask I knew he had made the wrong call. The defensive player had the top of the ball carriers jersey and pulled him down and the back side ref assumed it was a facemask by the way the ball carrier went down. The difference between me and the official was I had a better vantage point. Of course the call stood because Im just a guy in the stands. How many times do we make assumptions and we dont have the right vantage point? We have to see the big picture and not jump to conclusions. A bad call stood because of bad assumptions from the wrong vantage point. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW! Have a blessed night!
