Tonight at 9pm EST is finale of the hit HBO series True Blood. While the show has since long wrapped and the actors have moved on to other roles, for us the fans, it will not be over until the finale tonight. For the past seven years True Blood has been a staple in our lives. It had made us laugh in times we should have been crying and it preserved the love in our souls when so many of us wanted to hate. The overall the theme of diversity is exactly what America needed at the time when this show had first come out. We are happily and gleefully a diverse country and embrace the uniqueness of each and every individual. While this is our underlying nature and can never be crushed or destroyed, it was for a time, lost upon the world. True Blood embraced it and carried it for us for a time and I will always be grateful for this show. So tonight as I watch the last episode and probably cry because it is over, my sense of embracing diversity will be rejuvenated in my life. Thank you creators, cast, and crew of True Blood. You will always be apart of our families but we wish you grand success in everything you do in the future.
