Tonight at Crocker Park an Amber alert was called and security and me and my husband were searching everywhere for Kalysta. I allowed her to go to the movies with some friends, against my better judgement, because everyone tells me Im too hovering. Another parent dropped them off and assured me the pickup time. Forty minutes after I was supposed to pick her up she was no where to be found. I was everywhere showing people her picture and crying and asking if they had seen her. Finally she shows up. Worst feeling ever. The worst. Im sorry I just dont think these kids are old enough for this freedom. Soooo, I will be a helicopter parent thats cool. At least Ill know where my child is.
