Tonight at Libation Wines on the plaza from 7-10pm, the renowned psychic medium Claire Bent will channel the spirit of Tom Clancy, weaving his lyrical military-adventure novels into song. Her accompaniment shall be in the form of an otherworldly howling emanating from beneath the floorboards of our seemingly innocent wine shop. Midway through the show in a groundbreaking pyrotechnic display Aber "The King of Thieves" Miller will drop in through a hole in the ceiling, and proceed to distribute squirrels to the crowd. Immediately following this virtuosic exhibition, local frog-rock pioneers Ballsagna will take the stage a block away at the Jambalaya Arcata to celebrate the illustrious careers of Nancy Pelosi and John Boehner. Drew Mohr will tell dirty limericks in the bathroom, John Daren Thomas will vomit in a rhythmic and oddly soothing way, Sky Miller will "Skeegalize It" (a bizarre Lemurian ritual involving dipping cats into bowls of toothpaste and then selling them to passersby) and his son Aber Miller will be reading dinosaur erotica by Christie Sims (look it up!) and will hardly be bothered to participate.
