Tonight at church, my help did not come from the preaching, nor the Word in my lap. The Holy Ghost and I had a conversation during the preaching hour, and there was joy unspeakable and full of glory. I am not sinless, but I tell you what, God reminded me of His sweet grace tonight. There was not condemnation, there was a great love as if Jesus was sitting beside me on the pew there on the front row, holding my hand, looking at me eye to eye, and speaking comfortably to me, saying I am the one who was dead but now is alive forever more. Son, I would die again just for you if it were required of me. No wonder we have the verse The love of Christ constraineth us. When we see Jesus Christ hanging there, buried in sweet sorrow, and in great astonishment finding the tomb empty on the 3rd day, and understanding that His broken and bloody body made atonement for my sin, and HIS OWN BLOOD was sprinkled on the mercy seat in the Holy of HOLIES in HEAVEN, to pardon my sin and save my soul, and He ever liveth to make intercession for the saints, and He will be married to us on that glad morning at the marriage supper of the Lamb. Its not fear of condemnation that makes me repent, its that we love Him because He first loved us. I have sinned, and grieved the sweet Holy Ghost, and I know that Godly sorrow worketh repentance, because we see Him and we see our absolute inability to redeem ourselves, and our complete and utter wickedness and still there was grace to show us how great He IS and we fled to Him not because He forced us, but simply because we love Him. Call it irresistible if you want to, but when I saw Him, I wanted Him, and He gave me all of Himself. I wanted Him and I needed Him and He loves me and He saved me. Grace that is greater than all our sins. I know this isnt twitter but I would run out of characters before I ever told you everything about my Saviour. Glory to God.
