Tonight at the Place of Pace: Poole Pirates vs Peterborough Panthers. The Pirates face a stern test tonight against a very much in form Panthers side. Once basement dwellers of the league, the Panthers have hit great form in recent weeks including beating reigning champs Swindon on their home shale! Key to this has been the turnaround of Dane Patrick Hougaard. Struggling for form for most of the season, he has now found a set up and mind set that works and is currently scoring points for fun at reserve! Poole may have one absentee in Josh Grajczonek who is likely to have to ride for his Premier League side Somerset. The fixture was rearranged before Josh became a Pirate so has to take precedent. Matt Ford has already arranged suitable cover in asking former Pirate and Poole asset; Kyle Howarth to be on standby.
