Tonight begins Yom Hazikaron, or Israels memorial day. We invite you all to join us in remembering all those who have died defending Israel and those who have been victims of terror attacks and attacks targeting Israel. It is important to remember that this is as much our struggle as it is Israels. In 2005 a young man from the United States felt the same way, and moved to Israel to serve in the IDF. He was on leave visiting his family in the United States in 2006 when the war with Hezbollah broke out. He quickly returned to defend Israel alongside his fellow soldiers. He died fighting alongside his brothers in his unit. Tonight we remember him, along with all the soldiers and victims who have been lost throughout Israels struggle.
