Tonight for the 4th time this summer I begin the 4+ hour trek back to Moira from the Lakeside farms in Williamson NY. As I drove by farm after farm and ponder over the generations of families who have invested into the agriculture of that area the long rows of fruit trees bordering the road seem to be echoing a legacy of fruitfulness. My thoughts were quickly arrested as my 4 year old son and I each sunk our teeth into the most wonderful peach I have ever tasted. Any thoughts of weariness quickly fled as I realized the treasure I held in my hand. The peach juice filled my mouth and ran down my hands and face as exhaustion was replaced with fulfillment.What an opportunity I have to carry a most amazing product to my friends and neighbors in northern NY. Our doors open at 8 am! We have them by the quart,peck,1/2 bushel and bushel.The good news is the price has dropped again!
