Tonight has been tough on this momma. Watching your child get hurt by people who have been her friends for life cuts deep. The Lord has brought our family into a season of change and I sincerely think He has allowed these things to more clearly show us the plan He has for us. Change is not comfortable, but it is necessary to grow. And if we arent growing, how can we serve our greatest purpose? God never promised that following Him would be easy or painless. In fact, He assures us the opposite will be true for those wholeheartedly following Him. While my heart and hers broke tonight, I am grateful for the true friends she has in her life who have been encouraging her since she got home. I am also thankful for the heart of a beautiful lady who was with her tonight when I wasnt. Kristen Hope Simpson, saying thank you seems shallow for how I feel about you right now, but thank you. From the bottom of my heart I am grateful for the comfort you offered my girl and for the Truth you spoke into her life tonight. You are a difference maker and I love you dearly. For those that pray, could you lift up my daughter tonight? She is strong and solid in her knowledge of who God says she is, but extra prayers for her would be a blessing to us both!
