Tonight i find myself feeling grateful and wanting to share. Three years ago today our amazing, beautiful daughter checked into the hospital for the fight of her life. Thinking she had a stomach bug, only to find out it was E Coli. A few days later the worst new imaginable, her kidney were shutting down, she had HUS. 2 surgeries, 3 units of blood, 2 units of platelets, 5 days in critical condition in the ICU, 24 days on dialysis, 15 days of IV nutrition, and a total of 28 days in the hospital. I know that God has great plans for her. to be so terribly sick, and to come out of it so well, shows what a fighter she is. She is a lovely person inside and out. She makes us happy and proud. Even when she is being sassy. I love you Brittney Kristjansson!
