Tonight is a good/bad case. Mitchs fever keeps going up and down (100.3-101.3) They ran tests and found he has pneumona, as well as MRSA. The doctors want to do a cat scan to see if there is fluid in his lungs or between his lungs and rib cage. Both types of pneumonia are treatable just the MRSA type takes longer to treat. He has been on antibiotics from the beginning, but now its getting the right combination of them. Rebecca and the doctor told us that it has been caught early. They both said its not time to panic yet, they would tell us when to. On the plus side, his burns are healing great. When he wakes up he will be mostly healed and the hard painful part will be over. So thats good. He also opened his eyes a few times for us. He gives us a blank stare, but he seems to be hearing us some. Jen and I both fell much better since we each had a good cry last night and this morning. Now I would like to ask a favor to those who can help. John (one of our friends/firefighters) could use some help with getting together some bake goods to sell for the fundraiser he is doing.
