Tonight is rant night against Christians, and although it may appear that I am being unprofessional or sacrilegious what I say I dont personally or spiritually care. My full time profession for the better of 10 years now has been in the food industry and more particularly in restaurants of all types. From fast food to fine dining customer trends tend to be the same and stereotypes on my certain gests hold true 80% of the time. For a waiter, Sundays are generally the most hated and pitted against days to work, along with wednesday nights herd in north carolina. Why you ask? Because of the church folk who swarm the restaurants just after the preacher releases his sermon. Theyve given their 10% tithes to God, and if 10% is good enough for the ALMIGHTY CREATOR then less than godly is enough for the person who works his butt off to refrain from poverty just to barely pay his bills. Christians tend to be the most mal-tempered, disrespectful, condescending, uniquely-infamously-most-careless guests i have ever had the displeasure to serve as a waiter. For example I recently served a family of four at my restaurant who clearly told me they just came from church and were extremely hungry. Thus I did my all to get them their food as quickly as possible so they could enjoy their food at a decent time. What happened next astounds me on this one occasion. The table complained to me and my manager that i cooked the food to quickly and requested i return the food back to the kitchen to be held until the exact moment that they wanted the food. They then asked what church i attended and if i knew if i was going to heaven or hell. After a long conversation about my life and beliefs that kept me from attending to several other tables (promptness is key in tips btw) they asked for their food immediately and when i took the time to greet my other guests they hounded my manager again about me which could have costed me my job had my manager been blinded to my situation. They continued to act as though they were my only table while i was sweating bullets to take care of all my guests. At the end of their meal i brought them the check and they then complained the meal was cold and wanted certain items removed. In the end the manager removed those items and the bill was paid by the father who left me a track and a 2$ bill in the black book..... 2$ on 100$ tab. I make $2.13 an hour that goes straight to taxes, i make a 1.50$ paycheck every 2 weeks..... tips are my life, and this church going family just paid me slightly more than $1 an hour. Along with leaving me a track that explains my my future and how i am going to die and go to hell without Christ..... this is only one example of ohhh so many ive had over the years. Church goers are a top 5 group of stereotypes i hate to serve, and theyre wanting to change the world how? I myself am a christian, i dont reject the one true God, but i cant stand my own religious companions because i serve them.....
