Tonight is the Caribbean Night in the Commonweal Performing Arts Marquee from 7pm. Dancing to DJ Sunshine and reggae band Going Underground. Tickets still available priced £10 which includes hog roast and a glass of punch. Saturday 28th June starts 10am in Wood Street. There will be various activities including Commonweal Street Theatre, come and meet Woody, drummers, diablo players and waiters races. The Wiltshire Army Cadets Force Band play just before the opening speeches led by festival chair Trevor Smith, then festival patron Sheila Harrod, MP Robert Buckland and Mayor Theresa Paige. This is followed then by Bang To Rites who will lead the people and fun runners from Wood Street, across the High Street and into the Lawn. At the end of the avenue the fun runners will start the fun run and Bang To Rites will head to the Commonweal Performing Arts Marquee and be the first act of the day. The dog show dancing dogs start at 10am next to the small church in Lawn, but if the weather is bad they will perform in the marquee. No Hotsteppers as they pulled out at the last minute and no juggler as he broke his finger. Community acts in Commonweal Performing Arts Marquee until 5pm, then there is a host of bands in the evening, free entry. Full details in the programme and on line oldtownfestival.co.uk
