Tonight it has been a flashback for me:(:(. I want to give my sincere condolences and prayers to the Ike, Miller and YN Credit families for their loss. When one works for many years with one program/company----your coworkers are like your second family. We shared joys of happiness and shared tears of sadness-----we all shared or leaned on each others shoulders at one time or another. We became sisters and brothers as we shared bread and water. I, too, felt a deep loss when my coworker had left this earth not too long ago. One day we were laughing at a joke; the next day she was gone. Today, I thought of the last time I had seen Bernard and his wife at the casino; I was teasing them and we shared that last laugh together. I thought abt working beside her last month at the WinterLodge. Tonight Im grateful that I was given this precious time with her and had that last laugh with her a few days ago. Just as I am grateful that I had that last laugh with my coworker. This is my fondest last memory of the two finest native women who are now our beautiful angels. I have always believed in that one treasured teaching as taught by our past elders---smile and share your humor with your love ones; because you never know what will happen in the next second, minute, hour........tonight I had gone to the casino and in my heart I prayed because I wont see her there no more. Again----life is precious, our children and families are precious and our coworkers are priceless. Share that laugh and love---my love and hugs to each of you:):):)
