Tonight martial art class we got bored and decided to make shirts paint by numbers style. Actually this was a realistic knife attack training exercise using white t-shirts and sharpies. Blue dot means you got tagged during empty hand drill. We used black and red for the knife on knife drill. Black marker means you scored as the aggressor, red means the defender scored on you. We had fun but more important this is a great learning exercise. When training with practice knives it is easy to get stabbed or slashed and not even notice it in the heat of training- markers dont lie, feel it or not you know you took a hit!
