Tonight, more than half of Ramadan is gone. Some of us have been - TopicsExpress

Tonight, more than half of Ramadan is gone. Some of us have been active and working real hard to please Allah. Each one of us should ask himself; am I closer to Allah now or the same time of last Ramadan? A lot say that they had then lesser things to distract them than today. Anas Ibn Alnadr, may Allah be pleased with him said when he missed Badr: by Allah, if I were to witness another battle, Allah will see what I will do then. A year later, he was found among the martyrs in the battle of Uhud. He could not be recognized as he had more than 80 wounds resulting from a sword, an arrow or a spear. Only his sister managed to know him by his fingertips. This is solid truth: words that are verified by action! How many times have we vowed that next Ramadan, we will do this and that? Ramadan is not over yet. Less than two weeks left and then, we will regret the days we left behind. Let’s shape up and utilize whatever time is left. May Allah strengthen our will and help us do what pleases Him in these remaining blessed days and nights.
