Tonight on Hemp Works Radio, we have a special guest, a politician you can respect… Our guest is Pippa Bartolotti. She was elected as Leader of #Wales Green Party in November 2011. She had previously been Wales Green #Party Deputy Leader. Her working career has been varied, encompassing #Fashion design, #Electronics and #Software alongside volunteer work with #Amnesty International and working with #Stroke survivors. A proponent of co-operatives and worker ownership, Pippa has worked as a business advisor with the #Welsh Assembly #Government, advising indigenous businesses and planning for realistic and sustainable growth business models. She has sought to imbue business with a sense of community and instigated and supported profit sharing schemes and employee ownership wherever feasible. Pippa is also a long term campaigner for human rights and in particular works to highlight the plight of #Palestinian people. She has driven in a convoy to #Gaza, and in a recent attempt to visit occupied #Bethlehem, was arrested and imprisoned in #Israel.
