Tonight on PBS is the next part in the Ken Burns series about the Roosevelts. In this episode we learn about the near assassination of FDR in Miami. Kind of a fun fact. My dad as a boy was pretty close to the incident. He was sitting on the top of a nearby park bench when the gun went off. It so startled him that he fell off the back of a park bench. Hearing the pandaemonium, he climbed back up only to have the whole bench tip over on him and hit his head on the sidewalk. You did not need to know that but now you do.
