Tonight on a The Thaddeus Matthews Show I want women who have been abused and survived to call in and tell your stories it may help some other women who feels there is no escape and if you want to name your abuser that will be fine also, that just may save some womans life. I read a Facebook post on my page that I must repost: Erica Williams I was in an abusive relationship for 9 yrs. I knew better. I accept my responsibility. I allowed it to happen. All the signs were there. Im not just running my mouth Im speaking from experience. I have been kicked stomped almost strangled raped tortured used and abused. It didnt stop until i decided he gone kill me for real. I heard my family i heard my kids cry i heard my few friends that rode this out with me. No matter what i loved him and thought he would change. I wanted my family together. I wanted my livelihood. I stopped talking about it because I didnt want no one to get hurt and I was so overwhelmed I didnt want him to be hurt either. I didnt want him to go to jail. What was I going to do without him he had been controlling me so long.Finally a toothache made me leave. My wisdom teeth was hurting an he wanted some head. He kept begging my jaw was swollen. He didnt care he wanted this shit before work on lunch after work. That day I Said no he punched me right in that jaw. That pain was death and then he raped me. I passed out at some point but I remember him giving me Lortab afterwards and saying baby we gone take you to the dentist tomorrow my face ear everything was hurting but when I looked in the mirror i had cord marks on my neck and a black eye. I thought the pain knocked me out but he tried to strangle me for some head I remember vaguely going in the kitchen next thing I know I was handcuffed to a bed at the med. I had stabbed him several time he is paralyzed today. I had done the order of protection too. Erica Williams I allowed it kept going back. Thankful Im alive today
