Tonight on the way home from work Cheryl wanted me to pickup Lasagna and salad from Guidos in Okemos, I had already left the shop when she told me this so I called information to call ahead to Guidos, since it was about a 15 minute trip there I thought I would get a jump on the takeout order... Information, as in 555-1212 had no listing for Guidos, thinking this must be a mistake I called information again, no listing, so I drove there and once there placed my take out order and waited.... while I as there I told the young man at the counter that I had tried to call my order ahead but that Information had no listing for Guidos.... how many of you can guess what his response was? ....................................................... .........................................................................................................................................and the answer is....... Whats Information? .... I tried to explain to him that you call information to find a phone number that you do not know... he said he had never called information, if there was such a thing... if he wanted a phone number just Googled it on his Smart Phone... Makes sence I guess, if you have a smart phone... my flip phone is not Google friendly.... but still... I feel out of touch, but have no immediate plans for Smartphone ownership...
