Tonight, severe storms moved through Central Indiana, dumping a fair amount of hail on my Jeep as I drove to a meeting in Zionsville....where I discovered the entire town had been thrown into darkness. We finished our meeting by candle light, and then when I returned home I found this little piece of poetry about the Oak....Courage is not the towering oak that sees storms come and go, it is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow (Alice M. Swaim) And it is still thundering and bolts of lightning are hitting the nearby lake.......feels a bit magical to me.
