Tonight there will be a program in honor of the Shloshim of those killed in Har Nof. I believe it will be at DATA far north dallas at 8:30pm Here is a letter from one of the widows, the woman who organized it: Dear Friends: The tragic events which have befallen us these past months have made it clear that Klal Yisrael is at a crucial crossroad. Everyone feels it! There is such an outpouring of chessed, emotion and desire to change. Rav Gedalia Shorr (אור גדליהו) writes on Chanukathat throughout our גלותthere were many potential times for the coming of Mashiach, however all these times withered away because this potential was not taken advantage of by Klal Yisrael. The geula experienced in the times of the Chashmonaim was because the Chashmonaim took the signs sent to them from heaven and turned the potential into action. It is no coincidence that the shloshim of the Har Nof kedoshim fall on the first and second days of Chanuka. Just as at the time of the Chanuka miracle, where women took action - we too are taking action and with Hashems help are lighting the eternal light of geula for Klal Yisrael. In Jerusalem women are gathering in the Great Synagogue on Wednesday, December 17 - Kislev 25 - at 10:00a.m for a kenes hitorerut and the outlining of a specific continued action plan for change for the better. We encourage that gatherings take place all over the world with local speakers addressing women with a concrete action plan for change. Alternatively the video of the Jerusalem event can be presented to your local group. It will be ready as a downloadable file on Thursday morning Israel time. To obtain a copy please contact Mrs. Rivky Segal at [email protected]. We are also launching a new womens initiative called The Actions Project - theactionsproject. This project is designed to take us a real step upwards in our readiness for the Geulah. Women, let us ride on the wave of Kedusha that the holy deaths of my husband and the other kedoshim made and bring about the eternal light of Mashiach Tzidkenu. Sincerely, Chaya Levine
