Tonight this evening, I went to Cinepolis to see one of the newest Hollywood release, one fantastic movie telling the famous Bible story, EXODUS, directed by world-famous director RIDLEY SCOTT ( Gladiator, Prometheus,...), and featuring CHRISTIAN BALE ( Batman ) as MOISES, JOEL EDGERTON as RAMSES the Great Pharaoh. BEN KINGSLEY ( Gandhi ) has a supporting role as the wise Jewish Elder who prophetized the coming of MOISES as the saviour of the Jewish people, and it was MOISES who successfully led the 400 thousands of Israelites out of Egypt. I particularly like the event of the crossing of the Red Sea, with the Egyptian cavalry galloping at full speed to try to recapture the fleeing Jewish people. EXODUS is one of the most compelling and most emotional part of the Bible, as it clearly exemplified the principal substance of Judeo-Christianity, which was centralised on FAITH IN GOD and TRUST IN DIVINE SALVATION AND BLESSING! I strongly recommend to all my friends to rush to your movie theaters, no matter where, and see this fantastic movie. This should be THE BEST 2014 movie that I had seen! The battlefield of QUADESH is outstanding, the fleeing Jewish people under the leadership of MOISES is shot in a very real angle, and the scene of the Egyptian chariots running at ful speed trying to catch up with MOISES is truly awesome! But I think that JOEL EDGERTON as RAMSES has a superb and outstanding performance in this epic movie! Do not miss EXODUS, and I am sure that you shall fully enjoy a mind-boggling and fascinating story. EXODUS is played with and without 3D. I prefer the one without... And of course, the scene of the Red Sea crossing should be one of the most unforgettable moment of 2014 movie experience!
