Tonight was AMAZING at camp...its always amazing but it was extra special. I had a woman show up who is extremely overweight with one of my campers. The camper says to me, I brought this person because she needs your help, and I knew if anyone could help motivate her it would be you. She is just a mom at my school and I thought if I could change someones life by bringing her with me I wanted to. Her friend was terrified, but she never said I cant. We spoke about her health history and we put together a plan for her to move at HER own pace and be a part of the group. Because at camp we are all equal in our own race to the finish. The point of the story is this, she was scared, she was slow, she had a million excuses she could have made but she showed up and she finished! She finished because the first thing she said to me was, I dont know if I can do this, but mentally I want this Post workout I received this text: Thank you for being so kind and caring. I need this for myself and to watch my daughter grow. Im desperate I dont want to die of a heart attack cause of my obesity. My advice to anyone who read this entire message is this...if you have the will there is a way!!! There are people that care about you and people that can help you. Share this message with a friend that needs to believe in themselves! I cannot wait to see this woman transform into greatness!!❤️
