Tonight was a great end cap to the best week Ive had in a long time. I learned a lot in training, made solid changes that I hope to stay with, and finally mustered up the strength to leave behind all of the emotional baggage of the last year. Not all is swell though, so many of my friends are dealing with personal losses of death, ends to relationships, or just depression. I cant help but empathize and hope that this passes quickly. I also had a painful reminder that I can be a real asshole when I chose to open my mouth without thinking. I have plenty of things I need to fix in this life and plenty more things to build with these hands. For tonight I plan to drive fast and run with the other animals. I will own the night.
