Tonight was a great success! Thank you to everyone who made it out to help deliver! Although we did run out of lunches... my heart was touched as I gave out childrens lunches and hygiene kits. There were more infants than I remembered last year, which broke my heart because we didnt have enough newborn bags. :( but overall I feel like we helped many people tonight. This one lady I spoke with for just a few minutes, who was sleeping on the sidewalk tonight, couldnt have been more than 22 uears old. She was telling me shes never been homeless before, she was having a hard time getting a job but was working hard to find one and wanted to go to school to be an ObGYN. People say the homeless are just lazy and take advantage of the free stuff they get, thats not true for everyone. I hope snd pray this girl follows her dream and gets through school! I had a fantastic night and am so greatful for what I have. also, im so thankful to have Jaymee in my life. Im greatful to be able to partner with her in this great organization. Youre truly an angel in my life!
