Tonight was a night of aggravations and, as usual, I let my mind drift and speculated on yet another Hollywood Remake. The choice was the Wizard of Oz, done with the Present in mind. Dorothy (played by): Lindsay Lohan, Christina Ricci, not crazy about Brittany, Winona Ryder, enter your vote. Toto: Toy Poodle, Bull Terrier, Dachshund, Pit Bull, German Shepherd, enter your vote. Cowardly Lion: Less thought out and my only suggestion so far is Cedric the Entertainer, your vote. The Wicked Witch of the West: Courtney Love, your vote. The Wizard: Bob Hoskins (bless his soul!), Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), Damon Wayans, Brad of Brangelina, Matt Damon, your vote. Glinda the Good Witch: Gwyneth Paltrow, Glenn Close, Selma Hyack, Catherine Zeta-Jones, your vote. The Dormouse: Gilbert Gottfried, your vote. The White Rabbit: no idea, your vote. The Mad Hatter: Johnny Depp is still strange enough for me, your vote. The Queen of Hearts: Jennifer Aniston, Kathy Bates, your vote. My mind is revolting at the other roles and we go to the Director: Clint Howard, Clint Eastwood (he talks to chairs), Owe Boll, John Carpenter, Quentin Terantino, your vote ( Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez movies - can you imagine it?). Yes, gang, I know this is totally freakin silly, but Lets Have Some Fun. The head of the Munchkins will be at our disposal with their head Munchkin: Christian Slater and his wonderful sly smile.
