Tonight was a roller coaster of emotions. But I am so thankful for what happened tonight. I heard early this morning what happened to Kitty, and it hit me like a brick wall. On the way to work, at work, on lunch, back to work, and leaving work early on the way to the vigil, I was thinking. Thinking about Austin. Asking God to let his will be done. Tonight our community rallied. Even rival schools rallied together to go to God in prayer and lift Kitty up. Souls gave over to him. And Im so thankful for that. I talked to many of my brothers on the football team who just had one simple question... And that question was why. And I told them.. There is a rainbow after every storm. It may get nasty but youll see the beauty of it later on. And we saw that beauty tonight. Im so glad Russellville hired such a Godly man to lead the football program and show that NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE, that we should give it all to God. A man that helped lead a prayer vigil tonight. And prayed in front of our community. It would have been an honor to play for that man. Keep lifting up Austin in your prayers. And remember that God makes NO mistakes.
