Tonight was a very beautiful, yet emotional night.. Since being at Emory for weeks at a time now is a reality now, we have been forced to find new homes for our dogs. Tonight the sweetest family came to choose a new family dog. It warmed our hearts to see how happy both the family, and our dog, Grace, were to meet each other. Very bittersweet! :) Then, a man came to but our old dryer, and he was the most precious soul... We spoke about working at a grocery store, our love for dogs, as his wife breeds Maltese and Maltipoo puppies.. We got on the subject of Tom being sick, and his eyes teared up and he said, I dont know what Id do if something happened to my wife... We got the washer and dryer loaded up, and he told me how he admires my faith that everything happens for a reason. He asked me if he minded if he prayed over me. He held my hands, and prayed for peace over our family, over Toms transplant, and over our faith and ability to cope with what all is going on. Had. Me. In. Tears.. I am so thankful to have met him tonight.. I needed to hear that prayer right there, right then, in my driveway. God really does work on mysterious ways! ❤️❤️
