Tonight was an interesting night at our Pilates Class in Drighlington ! We started the class learning more about Thoracic Breathing, focused on connecting to abdominals and after familiar exercises we finished with a hard workout on outer and inner thighs. No relaxation this week but no apologies ladies ! Well done for challenging yourselves! Thoracic Breathing Breathe in wide into the rib cage, relax into the back and abdominals. Breathe out, softening the rib cage down, lift up from the pelvic floor and pull in from the abdominals. Keep your back relaxed and in neutral. Imagine you are being drawn in by an invisible corset ! Join our team on Wednesday 6pm at Drighlington Community Centre ! Everyone welcome from beginners to intermediate !
