Tonight was harder than I thought it was gonna be. Sunday night putting Ernests shoes on sending him off to hospital, ..... Well I didnt think that was gonna be the last time I seen him. The last couple days have felt like this wasnt and could not be true... But tonight I had no choice but to face it. Ernest Baldwin is gone. I have known Ernest and his family for years and have always cared for them .... But since Oct. when I started staying up here with him and Ms Baldwin I have gotten closer to them than I thought I would. I miss coming in and hearing him call my name to make sure it was me. Ive had a couple of people tell me in last couple of days that Ms Baldwin is gonna need me now more than ever and Ive been thinking.... I need her more. She is the sweetest woman and my main goal is to keep her safe from falling and to make her comfortable. People keep saying thank you to me and that Im a blessing ..... But I feel Im the one that has been blessed. Blessed to know this great family, to have known a GREAT man and to spend alittle time with a great lady.
