Tonight was our annual Meet the Teacher night at Riojas Elementary. Children and parents enthusiastically walked down the hall, school supplies in tow, to meet their new teacher. The faculty and staff were equally charged with big smiles greeting our guests. Parents gave their evening to work the PTO table sharing information and ready to help with any need. I have been blessed to work with very giving people in the past. However, it is rare to find such a large group of people who are consistently willing to serve each other and their community.
