Tonight we are one step closer to meeting our son!!! The travel dates were given to us today, and the tickets are booked! As I read the official paperwork tonight, my heart beat faster. Tonight, I know his birthday. I know how tall he is and how much he weighs. I know who his mother was and I know why he was given to the orphanage. I know every medical need he has had and how he performs academically! I know where he was born and where he lives now!! So much information and yet so much still unknown!! How do we make up the last 12 years? Will he love us? How do we teach him that he can trust us?? What will he think when he sees us the first time? Etc etc!! Those of you who know me well understand that my planner personality is reeling with what ifs - this is way out of my comfort zone!! When God called us to adopt, I was so unsure that I could do this, but blindly obeyed! Tonight, Ive never been more certain that our son is waiting for us, and God is going to work out all the details!!!
