Tonight we cap off our FREE MUSIC WEEKEND with a special Reggae night featuring the area’s only authentic dancehall reggae act, Robanic. Bandleader, Aston “Robot” Ellis comes from a family that has been a part of the Jamaican entertainment industry over 60 years. His band Robanic plays a wide and colorful range of Caribbean music including old-school reggae, traditional rock-steady, ska, calypso, contemporary lovers rock, as well as the hottest new dance-hall sound from Jamaica. Also performing tonight is DJ Johnny 5000, a multi-genre DJ bouncing between dub, reggae, dancehall, funk, hip hop and various other dance music genres.
