Tonight we finally celebrated Emma turning 9 with a few of her friends. They had lots of Harry Potter fun- they tried butter beer and chocolate frogs and had a feast in the great dining hall, the sorting hat sorted them into teams, they played some crazy muggle quidditch (with croquet sticks for brooms), went to Honeydukes candy shop and filled up their broomstick bags with funny candy and Harry glasses, ate a Harry Potter quidditch game ice cream cake, made owl balloons, tried disgusting flavored jelly beans (vomit, dirt, grass, boogar, etc.) and ended with watching the third movie. Now the night portion begins with a sleepover in the Gryffindor commons room where there is the famous fat lady with a secret password. Whew, that is a lot of Harry Potter!
