Tonight we lost the much loved Patriarch to the Grant family, Floyd Grant. My heart is with his daughters and extended families. Stayed with Annita and Linda as he passed and while others were contacted. My heart especially goes out to his sister Thelma. It was a hard night for us all. I always loved to come by and visit, listening to his memories of things like how he and his wife had built their house by themselves, including the fireplace with all the stones hand picked by his wife, the sugarshack he ran each spring in his younger years on his land each spring, even his things hes seen and done while in the military. Like many of the generations before me, I will miss the visits and to learn what I could from their times on this earth. I will miss you cousin.
